What Sets Us Apart

Fertility Nutrition Program

Meet Our Fertility Nutritionists

Our team of registered dietitian nutritionists are passionate about helping each patient create a personalized nutrition and lifestyle plan to increase their chances of success.

Why does nutrition matter when you're trying to conceive?

“You are what you eat” are excellent words to live by, especially when you're on a fertility journey. At Illume Fertility, we believe that eating in a balanced, sustainable way is a vital part of a healthy lifestyle and can help lay the groundwork for a successful pregnancy.

That’s why we provide nutritional support and resources for all patients as part of our comprehensive approach to infertility treatment. Our nutrition program helps both patients and their partners understand the relationship between dietary choices, weight management, lifestyle choices, health conditions, fertility and pregnancy.

Nutrition improves overall health

Our fertility nutrition program offers individual consultations that provide education and strategies on how to optimize health for conception and pregnancy, using foods to improve fertility.

Some common health conditions that can often be improved with nutrition and lifestyle changes include:

  • Insulin resistance
  • Hyperlipidemia
  • Polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS)
  • Celiac disease
  • Diabetes and pre-diabetes
  • Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS)
  • Eating disorders, especially when they lead to being on the low or high end of the BMI spectrum
