There are several options for obtaining donor sperm. Here is a simplified rundown:
Known Donor: A qualified male friend offers to donate their sperm to help you become a mom.
Anonymous (Deidentified) Donor: Found through a sperm bank; selected based on characteristics like race, ethnicity, academic achievements, personality traits, and family medical history.
Identity Release Donor: Gives your child the option to contact the sperm donor after turning 18 years of age.
