She specializes in perinatal mental health, grief, and trauma, and is passionate about supporting families through infertility, pregnancy loss, and the challenges of early parenthood.

Elisabeth leads Illume's new pregnancy loss support series, Encircled, which offers space for individuals and couples to process grief and find hope again after heartbreak.

More About Elisabeth Schneider

Elisabeth brings both personal and professional experience to her work, offering a unique blend of deep empathy and clinical expertise.

She is certified in Maternal Mental Health through Postpartum Support International and in Pediatric Palliative Care through Harvard University’s Center for Palliative Care. She also holds advanced training in grief and trauma care, and regularly educates other clinicians on best practices in perinatal loss support.

Since 2012, Elisabeth has focused exclusively on supporting individuals and families during the perinatal period, including those navigating infertility, perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, and early family transitions.
