Prefer to talk with our team? Call (203) 956-2265 to get questions answered or schedule an initial consultation.
Please do not use this form for urgent medical concerns. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency department.
During your initial one-hour fertility consultation, you will speak with one of our nine board-certified reproductive endocrinologists about your medical history, fertility or family-building goals, anticipated fertility testing, and potential treatment options.
The cost of an initial fertility consultation for those with a participating insurance provider is $350. The cost of a returning patient consultation is $295. This amount will be billed to your insurance company. We recommend reaching out to your insurance provider to discuss any copayments before your visit.
If you do not have insurance, the cost of your initial fertility consultation will be discounted to $200.
After your consultation, an assigned Financial Coordinator will perform a benefits check to verify your insurance coverage, then provide you with a detailed estimate of expected costs based on your doctor's proposed treatment plan.
Yes, we recommend reaching out to any previous providers to obtain copies of any related medical records. This may include your OB/GYN, a urologist, previous fertility clinic, endocrinologist, or other provider. The more information you can provide about your reproductive health, the better.
Yes. Any information you share during your consultation will remain secure and confidential. Illume Fertility uses only HIPAA-compliant platforms. Your privacy is always our priority.
After your initial consultation, your Illume Care Team (which will include your patient navigator, a fertility nurse, and a financial coordinator) will reach out to you to introduce themselves. They will then update you on next steps, including helping to schedule any necessary fertility testing appointments.
Your financial coordinator will also conduct a benefits check with your insurance based on your doctor's proposed treatment plan.
For your initial fertility consultation and follow-up consultation, you will meet with your primary doctor. Illume Fertility has a collaborative care model, meaning that you may see one of our other doctors at subsequent morning monitoring, testing, or other appointments.
We always strive to schedule big milestone appointments (such as embryo transfers) with your primary doctor whenever possible - but rest assured, you will always be in excellent hands at Illume.
At Illume Fertility, expert medical care is paired with whole-person support through our Integrated Fertility & Wellness program, the only full in-house fertility wellness team at a Connecticut fertility practice.
From acupuncture and nutrition counseling to support groups and mental health resources, our team is here to support both the clinical and emotional sides of your fertility journey.
Illume Fertility offers a full range of personalized fertility and family-building options, including ovulation induction, timed intercourse, intrauterine insemination (IUI), in vitro fertilization (IVF), egg freezing, donor egg and sperm conception, reciprocal IVF, gestational surrogacy and fertility surgery.
Your fertility specialist will review your health history, test results and goals to help determine which path is right for you.
Illume Fertility’s IVF success rates are independently reported through the Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology (SART) and reflect strong outcomes relative to national benchmarks.
Because success rates vary based on age, diagnosis, ovarian reserve, treatment type and other individual factors, your fertility specialist will help you understand what a realistic outcome may look like for you.
